The California Pool and Spa Association, with its Let's Pool Together campaign, has been doing a great job of educating Californians this year; but there are still those out there who doubt the effectiveness of tools like swimming pool covers and the low impact of swimming pool maintenance compared to lawn maintenance.  But the truth is, swimming pools save thousands of gallons of water each year when in place of a lawn of the same square footage.
